In 2001 Bright Blue’s Richard Kennett created and produced O, Helga Natt, an outdoor Christmas show, performed on the great square in the center of Örebro, Sweden.
O, Helga Natt became Swedens largest Christmas show, attracting audiences of approximately 25 000 people, with occasional peaks of over 30 000.
The show also attracted a national audience after being broadcast on Swedish Television SVT1 in 2002, and then on TV4 from 2009 to 2015. Both channels gave O, Helga Natt the prime slot of 8.00 pm on Christmas Eve.
Richard produced the show from 2001 to 2015. During its run, O, Helga Natt featured many of Swedens leading artists, musicians, lighting and stage designers, musical directors and directors.
